Mercoledì 9 luglio, l’Ambasciatore di Francia presso la Santa Sede, Florence Mangin, e il Ministro Consigliere, Marcel Escure, hanno visitato il Giardino Eco-Charity. Una visita che rende onore alle Suore della Carità della Casa Generalizia e ai membri dell’équipe di Eco-Charity garden e che apre un’importante collaborazione per ampliare l’offerta di itinerari ed eventi per i cittadini francesi e francofoni.
La Francia è la madrepatria della fondatrice Santa Giovanna Antida Thouret e del protettore San Vincenzo de Paoli. La Congregazione mantiene forti legami con la cultura e la lingua francese e ha contribuito a rendere questo incontro particolarmente caloroso per tutti i partecipanti.
L’ambasciatrice e il consigliere hanno passeggiato nel parco accompagnati da Suor Mirna Farah, responsabile del progetto Eco-Charity Garden, della Consigliera Generale Suor Wanda-Maria Clerici e di Elisa, una delle nostre volontarie.
Sua Eccellenza Mangin ha apprezzato la bellezza naturale del parco, l’armonia che vi regna, le iniziative intraprese e i percorsi eco-spirituali offerti ai visitatori. Promette che questa visita sarà presto seguita da altri incontri e che sicuramente porterà a nuove iniziative, che speriamo di condividere molto presto con voi.
È stata una visita memorabile per Eco-Charity Garden e per la Casa generalizia delle Suore della Carità. Noi ringraziamo l’ambasciatrice e il suo consigliere per il tempo trascorso insieme e per i complimenti e le proposte ricevute.

The French Ambassador to the Vatican visits the Eco-Charity Garden.
On Wednesday, 9 July, the French Ambassador to the Holy See, Florence Mangin, and the Minister Counsellor, Marcel Escure, visited the Eco-Charity Garden.
This visit opens up an important collaboration for the Eco-Charity Garden, enabling them to expand the range of routes and events on offer to foreign pilgrims.
France is the homeland of the founder, Saint Jeanne Antida Thouret, and of the patron saint, Saint Vincent de Paul. The Congregation has strong ties to French culture and language, which helped make the meeting a particularly warm experience for everyone involved.
The Ambassador and Counsellor strolled through the park with Sister Mirna Farah (Head of the Eco-Charity Garden project), Sister Wanda-Maria Clerici (Superior General Councillor) and Elisa (one of our volunteers).
His Excellency Mangin appreciated the park’s natural beauty, the harmony that reigns there, and the initiatives and eco-spiritual paths offered to visitors. He promised that this visit would soon be followed by others and would certainly lead to new initiatives, which we hope to share with you very soon.
It was a memorable visit for the Eco-Charity Garden and the General House of the Sisters of Charity. We thank the Ambassador and her counsellor for their time and for their compliments and suggestions.

L’Ambassadrice Florence Mangin en visite à Eco-Charity Garden
Mercredi 9 juillet, l’Ambassadrice de France auprès du Saint-Siège Mme Florence Mangin et le Ministre Conseiller M. Marcel Escure ont visité le parc Eco-Charity Garden. Une visite qui honore les Sœurs de la Charité de la Maison Générale et les membres de l’équipe Eco-Charity Garden, ouvre une collaboration importante pour élargir l’offre de parcours et d’événements aux ressortissants français et francophones.
La France est le pays natal de la fondatrice Sainte Jeanne-Antide Thouret et du protecteur spirituel Saint
Vincent de Paul. La Congrégation maintient des liens assez forts avec la culture et la langue françaises, ce
qui a contribué d’ailleurs à rendre cette rencontre particulièrement chaleureuse pour toutes les personnes
impliquées.
Mme l’ambassadrice et son conseiller ont parcouru le parc en compagnie de Sœur Mirna Farah, responsable du projet Eco-Charity Garden, de la Conseillère générale Sœur Wanda-Maria Clerici et d’Elisa, une de nos bénévoles.
Son Excellence Mme Mangin a apprécié la beauté naturelle du parc, l’harmonie qui y règne, les initiatives
menées et les parcours écolo-spirituels qui sont proposés aux visiteurs. Elle promet que cette visite sera
bientôt suivie d’autres rencontres et qu’elle débouchera certainement sur de nouvelles initiatives dont
nous espérons vous faire part très prochainement.
Cette visite est mémorable aux archives d’Eco-Charity Garden et aux cœurs des Sœurs de la Charité. Nous
remercions Mme l’ambassadrice et son conseiller pour le temps passé ensemble ainsi que pour les
